Williams-Sonoma, Inc. recognizes the enormous potential to make a difference through the power of volunteering. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to give your time and talent.

One major tool to support your volunteerism is Community Involvement Time (CIT), which provides all full-time corporate associates with eight paid hours each year to volunteer during work hours. You can choose when and how to spend this time. Our associates have done everything from volunteering at their children’s school to working at a food bank to restoring natural habitat.

The WSI Matching Gifts program is designed to double the impact of the cash contributions you make to approved non-profit and community organizations you care about. The Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Foundation will match up to $500 in gifts annually for eligible associates. The program is an opportunity to provide greater support for qualifying organizations that rely on the financial support of their members and supporters to improve our communities, our environment and ultimately, our own lives at home.

Here are some key facts about how the program works:

• All full-time, benefits-eligible associates can participate.
• The Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Foundation will match up to $500 per associate per year.
• Minimum for match.
• Associates can request that their charity be added to the Matching Program through Brightfunds.

*WSI matching gift program matches up to $500 of an associate’s contribution to any approved organization every calendar year, or donations can also be made to qualified  Racial Justice and Equity campaign non-profit 501(c)3 organizations, to a maximum of $1000.
