Begins on the eighth day of an illness or first day of hospitalization and continues until you are fully recovered or for 26 weeks, whichever comes first. STD for Exempt Associates |
Full-Time exempt associates (including associates residing in CA) are automatically enrolled in this benefit. Covers 66⅔ percent of your weekly base salary up to $4,000 weekly maximum benefit. Benefit begins on the eighth day of an illness/first day of hospitalization and continues until you are fully recovered or for 26 weeks, whichever comes first. Coordinates with income from other sources (e.g., state-mandated benefits in California, New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Hawaii and Puerto Rico). 90-day waiting period from full-time hire date. |
State Disability Insurance (SDI) |
Associates who are non-exempt and work in the state of California are automatically enrolled in this benefit. |
60 percent of your average base wages up to a $1,252 weekly benefit maximum. Begins on the eighth day of your disability and continues until you are fully recovered or for 52 weeks, whichever comes first. |
Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD) |
All non-exempt associates (excluding corporate) are eligible for this voluntary benefit. |
Choose coverage of either 40 or 60 percent of monthly base salary. Receive up to a maximum of $5,000 per month. LTD coordinates with income from other sources (such as Social Security). |
Company-Provided Basic LTD and Voluntary LTD |
All exempt and corporate non-exempt associates are automatically enrolled in the Basic LTD benefit. Some associates may be eligible for additional Voluntary LTD. |
Basic LTD benefit is 40 percent of monthly base salary with an option to elect an additional 20 percent of your monthly base salary. Receive a combined monthly maximum benefit of up to $10,000. Benefits begin on the 181st consecutive day of disability. LTD coordinates with income from other sources (such as Social Security). |
